Safety, Quality, Innovation. These principles
are every bit as important to us today as they
were when the company’s founder, Captain Michael
Sarros, established the Group with these three
basic aims, more than 25 years ago.
Fundamental to our founder’s vision was the protection
of the marine environment for future generations.
This, too, is and will always be our moral obligation.
Inaugurated in 1978 in Piraeus, Greece, the Fairdeal
Group was one of the very first shipping companies
to specifically dedicate itself to environmental
protection. The Group pioneered in Slop Reception
Facilities as per Marpol 73/78 - firstly in Greece
and, since 1985, in the United Arab Emirates.
Care for the marine environment has always been
at the heart of Fairdeal’s strategies, however
the Group’s activities have also diversified
over the years. Under a second generation management
and with the Group’s long experience, this has
been taken a step further, utilizing strategic
focused locations. Steady investment in the renewal
of the Group’s fleet and procurement of the latest
waste oil processing equipment augurs well for
the Group’s continued expansion in years to come.
Our long experience has allowed us to develop
a unique range of compatible offshore services,
covering key industry needs. These include the
requirements of oil majors and traders for safe
and reliable storage facilities, transportation
and the safe delivery of oil products.
